Only Two Weeks Left!

Two weeks!  Where did the time go?!  Busy arranging everything now, selling equipment we no longer require, contacting all of our suppliers to tell them our new address, honestly there are not enough hours in the day for the work that has to be done!

We’re getting ready for another really busy weekend and also Valentines Day which is on Monday so we are snowed under at the moment with lots to keep us occupied.  We’ve spent the last week saying goodbye to some of our customers who won’t be in again which has been quite strange.  We also had a very funny moment with a customer which perhaps you had to really be there to appreciate how funny it was.  The gentleman is a regular customer and when he came in saying hello to everyone, he said to Costanzo “you’ve not met my wife before, this is my wife” gesturing to the door.  As he said this, in walks a man resembling Susan Boyle before her makeover!  After a few seconds of silence in which time the gentleman’s wife has now entered the restaurant, Costanzo breathes a sigh of relief and states that he was just about to say how ugly his wife was!  The Susan Boyle lookalike whose native language was not English was most amused and when they were leaving, Costanzo caused great hilarity telling him “Susan, it was lovely to meet you” and then recounted the whole story to the customers who had not been there when it happened. Apologies to our other customers who heard the whole thing, one of which almost choked on her Tiramisu whilst her partner had his face buried in the table with tears of laughter rolling down his face.  You can’t say we don’t provide entertainment in our establishment!

Signing off now, lots to do but hope we see some of you in the next two weeks before we close.  Lots of Last Suppers coming up which we will have to get some photos of so if you are coming in, see you then!
